Nishimeya-mura LOCAL ACTIVITY NATURE

Shirakami Sanchi Visitor Center is located in Nishimeya Village, Aomori Prefecture, and is a facility that introduces the nature and culture of the World Natural Heritage Site, Shirakami Sanchi. Visitors can learn about the ecosystem of the beech forest, its seasonal scenery, and its relationship with people through large images and displays. A variety of courses are available for both beginners and advanced trekkers, allowing visitors to experience the nature of the Shirakami Sanchi up close and personal.
