BIWANO52 Coffee Factory is a home-roasted coffee shop in Noheji, a small port town in Aomori Prefecture.

All coffee beans are roasted in the store, allowing customers to enjoy the fresh aroma of coffee. About 25 kinds of coffee beans are always available, and you can enjoy them in your favorite way, such as drip or siphon.

The freshly brewed coffee, which is hand-picked twice, has a clean taste with no off-flavor.

Another nice touch is that a welcome coffee is served when you take your seat.

Sweets that go well with coffee, such as waffles and apple pie, are also popular. Representative Matsuyama opened the store in 2019 with his partner, Mikiyo, with a desire to spread coffee culture.

The name “BIWANO 52 Coffee Factory” reflects his determination not to forget his original intention when he started the store at the age of 52 and his ambition to become a significant presence in disseminating coffee culture from Aomori to the rest of Japan and the world like a “factory”.

This is the company’s ambition. The company has also developed “Kawarakezumei Coffee” blended with the Noheji-machi specialty “Kawarakezumei Tea” and “Umaimono Marugoto Soup!” using scallops and Kokabu seaweed to promote local specialties throughout Japan.

They also hold coffee classes in various forms, supporting the coffee life of many people, from the coffee industry to beginners. It is also the only coffee shop in Aomori Prefecture that is a member of the “East Japan Coffee Industry and Commerce Association (All Japan Coffee Industry and Commerce Association).
