FLEUR Cafe is an elegant, cosy café located in Furukawa, Aomori, and popular with locals and tourists alike. Located within walking distance of Aomori Station, the space has a white-based interior with seasonal flowers adding a splash of colour. The interior has a clean and relaxed atmosphere, and the sweets menu is particularly noteworthy.
A particularly popular menu item is the Afternoon Tea Set, which features a selection of sweets made from seasonal fruit.

They are gorgeous to look at and feature beautiful decorations made from edible flowers. These sweets are an artistic treat for the eyes as well as the palate. Many people order from the menu in the members’ colours and use it as a “guessing game”.

The owner, Mr Sakamoto, realised his childhood dream of opening a café. He uses plenty of fresh local ingredients and his passion for making sweets is evident. While the café is rooted in the local community, it is also widely known by tourists visiting Aomori City and has many repeat customers.
