Bohemian, a book café and bar, opened in 2022 and is located in Okatsukurimichi, Aomori City. Upon entering, one can be astounded by books reaching the ceiling.

There are more than 2,000 books in the collection. You can spend an ideal time here, reading a book you bought while sipping a drink.

This is the ideal place to spend your time. The bookshelves are a veritable book selection store, with a wide variety of novels, philosophy books, practical books, children’s books, and tanka and haiku genres to suit your mood. Each bookcase offers something new to discover.

The owner, Mr. Ota, is still in his 20s. A 10-page short story he read by chance at the library attracted him to the world of books. He once found a job but decided to return to Aomori and open this store because he wanted to work with the books he loved.

One of the restaurant’s attractions is its authentic and delicious food, which is hard to believe that it is a bookstore. From lunch to dinner, pasta is a steadfast favorite.
