Enta Sake Shop is a liquor store in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture, specializing in local sake and wine, and its owner, Enta Keisuke, aims to spread the enjoyment of sake in the community. Mr. Enta, a former childcare worker, spent 13 years working with children in the childcare field before taking over his family’s liquor store and becoming a certified sake taster (Kikizakushi) in 2020. His focus is to sell sake to customers and convey the story behind each sake and the brewery’s passion.

Enta Sake Shop offers a wide selection of locally brewed sake and selected wines from Aomori Prefecture, with a new brand offered each season. Kaku-uchi (drinking inside the store) is also available, and the concept behind the store is to provide a place where people can connect with each other through alcoholic beverages. They are a community hub, more than just a liquor store, fostering connections and relationships through our shared love of sake. They also hold collaborative events with local restaurants and sake breweries, and focus on activities to deepen the connection between customers, sake, and the community.
