Hachinohe Portal Museum “Hacchi” is a multi-purpose cultural facility in the center of Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture. Admission is free, and visitors can discover Hachinohe’s charms through various exhibits and experiences.

Opened in 2011, the museum features exhibits introducing local history and culture, art events, workshops, and more. Each floor has a different theme, and the content is filled with a variety of Hachinohe attractions, including exhibits on urban development and industry, people associated with the city, festivals, food culture, a photo exhibition of the factory district, a music studio and other spaces for creative activities, exhibition spaces, and a café.

The museum also has a children’s area, Kodomo-Hachinohe, widespread with families.
