Komise Eki
Tsugaru Komise Station is a tourist center on Komise Street in Kuroishi City.
Traditional crafts and souvenirs are available for purchase, and live Tsugaru shamisen music is performed free of charge (performances are held daily from late April to early November and only on weekends and holidays from mid-November to mid-April). At the inside diner “Komise-an,” located inside Tsugaru Komise Station, you can have Kuroishi’s specialty “Kuroishi Yakisoba” and “Tsuyu Yakisoba. “Kuroishi Yakisoba” features stir-fried Taihei-men noodles with Worcestershire sauce; “Tsuyu Yakisoba” is topped with plenty of sauce, a fried egg, and green onion. Come and savor the delightful local gourmet in Kuroishi.
