Located in the waterfront area in front of Aomori Station, Aoi-no-umi Park is an open-air park by the sea.

A 360-degree panoramic view of the Aomori Bay Bridge, Aomori Bay Bridge, Hakkoda Maru, lighthouse, cruise terminal, and the triangular building Aspam, as well as Aomori City’s iconic structures, the sea, and mountains, can be caught from this park. A leisurely stroll around the area and sitting on a bench with a sandwich from the nearby “Mondor” is a great way to spend a leisurely day and gaze out at the sea. Also, every year around May, “Nebuta Russe Land” opens, where the production huts for the large Nebuta floats that go to the Aomori Nebuta Festival are lined up, and visitors can observe the Nebuta being made.
